Privacy Policy

Your data, handled with care.

Last updated: 12 June 2026

We keep this simple: we collect only what we need to run our programs, process your donations, and stay in touch — and we never sell your data.

1. Who we are

Udaan Ki Paathshala is an initiative of Dream36 Foundation ("we", "us"), a registered trust working with children and women in Delhi/NCR. This policy explains what personal information we collect through udaankipaathshala.org (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have.

You can reach us anytime at contact@udaankipaathshala.org, or at Yadav Chaupal, Near Radhe Krishna Mandir, Chakkarpur, 122001.

2. Information we collect

We collect information in four ways:

  • Donation form — your name, email address, phone number, PAN (used for 80G tax receipts), donation amount, chosen cause, and frequency.
  • Contact form — your name, email address, phone number (optional), the nature of your enquiry, and your message.
  • Newsletter — your email address.
  • Automatically — if analytics are enabled, standard usage data such as pages visited, approximate location, and device and browser type, collected via Google Analytics with IP anonymisation.

3. How we use your information

We use the information above to:

  • process your donation and issue an 80G tax receipt;
  • respond to enquiries about volunteering, partnership, or press;
  • send you the newsletter you signed up for;
  • keep records that Indian law requires us to keep, including tax records;
  • understand how the Site is used so we can improve it.

4. Payments (Razorpay)

Donations are processed by Razorpay Software Pvt. Ltd. Your card, UPI, or net-banking details are entered directly into Razorpay's secure checkout and never touch our servers — we receive only a payment reference, your donor details, and the donation amount. Razorpay's handling of your data is governed by its own privacy policy.

5. Sharing & disclosure

We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Razorpay, to process donations;
  • service providers that help us run the Site, such as our hosting provider (Vercel) and, if enabled, Google Analytics;
  • authorities, where the law requires it — for example, donor records connected to 80G receipts.

6. Cookies & analytics

The Site itself sets no marketing cookies. If Google Analytics is enabled, it sets its own cookies to help us understand how the Site is used; IP addresses are anonymised. You can block cookies in your browser or use Google's opt-out tools — the Site works fine without them.

7. Data retention

We keep donation records for as long as Indian tax law requires. Contact-form messages and newsletter addresses are kept only until the purpose is served or you ask us to delete them.

8. Your rights

You can ask us, at any time, to:

  • show you the personal information we hold about you;
  • correct it if it is wrong;
  • delete it, except records we must keep by law.

9. Security

We use HTTPS across the Site, store no payment credentials, and limit access to donor information to the people who need it. No internet transmission is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable, industry-standard precautions.

10. Children's privacy

Our work centres on children, but the Site is meant for adults — donors, volunteers, and partners. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 through the Site. Photographs of children on the Site are published with consent and, where appropriate, anonymised.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the latest version, and meaningful changes will be noted on this page.

12. Grievance officer & contact

Under India's Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable data-protection rules, you may raise any privacy concern or grievance with us at contact@udaankipaathshala.org, addressed to the Grievance Officer, Dream36 Foundation, Yadav Chaupal, Near Radhe Krishna Mandir, Chakkarpur, 122001. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and resolve them within 30 days.
